The Australian Government does not require Australian visa holders to have a visa label placed in their passport for travel to Australia. The visa grant notice (attached below) explains the conditions of the visa including period of validity and entry requirements. Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) Service
Australian visa holders are able to check their current visa details in VEVO by using Visa Grant Number which is listed in the attached visa grant notification. To access this service, please go to the following website: http://www.border.gov.au/Busi/Visa
